Q: What is the Kolorfusion process?
A: The Kolorfusion process is a cost-efficient decoration system for products of virtually any shape and size. The process transfers any image into the coating of a coated part or directly into a plastic part.
Q: Is Kolorfusion a “dip” process?
A: No. Except for products that require a low-temperature plastic or other low-temperature material that won't withstand the temperatures of our process, Kolorfusion is a far superior process in terms of durability and image quality. Please contact our sales department for samples.
Q: How do I customize my product?
A: Contact our sales department. The design possibilities are virtually endless and customizing your product is easy. You can choose from our growing library of designs, send a high-resolution image file of your own, or we can create a customized design for you. It’s never been easier to decorate a 3D product!
Q: Do you have a minimum order quantity?
A: Kolorfusion has the unique ability to produce small quantites on demand without any image set-up fee or minimum order volume. We have just a small minimum lot fee per order. This allows our customers to produce only the images that are selling, minimize inventories, and test the market while keeping costs low.
Q: How Does it Work?
A: The process is done using a dye transfer technology known as sublimation. The image is printed with a dye that vaporizes at temperatures at or above 280F; hence the image vaporizes into the coated part or directly into the plastic part. Unlike competing sublimation processes, however, our patented process allows us to decorate virtually any shape or size product with minimal “jigging” or fixturing and with no image set-up fees and no minimum order quantity!
